Kantec Otomasyon Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (the Company) takes the security of your personal data, which we process as the data controller defined in the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (PDPL), seriously. Therefore, we would like to inform you regarding the processing of your personal data.
PURPOSES AND LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the PDPL and secondary regulations based on the following purposes and legal reasons:
Legal Obligations: Your personal data may be processed, transferred, and retained for the duration necessary as per the relevant legislation, based on the legal obligation set out in Article 5/2(c) of the PDPL.
Dispute Resolution: Your personal data may be processed and shared with relevant legal authorities based on the legal reason of establishing, exercising, or protecting a right under Article 5/2(e) of the PDPL, to prove the legal compliance of transactions and ensure the resolution of disputes.
Contract Processes: Your personal data may be processed and retained for the necessary duration for purposes such as the formation or execution of contracts related to the Company’s business, requests, offers, purchases, and sales, as well as financial and accounting transactions based on Article 5/2(c) of the PDPL.
Improvement of Services and Customer Satisfaction: Your personal data may be processed based on the legitimate interest legal reason stipulated in Article 5/2(f) of the PDPL, for evaluating complaints and suggestions, taking actions to improve service quality and customer satisfaction, and conducting communication activities.
Marketing/Advertising: The Company may process your personal data for various marketing and advertising activities with your explicit consent, as provided under Article 5/1 of the PDPL. This includes creating potential customer records, notifying you of campaigns and opportunities, conducting profiling and targeting activities, and offering you the most suitable offers based on your past preferences and likes. Your personal data will not be processed for marketing purposes if you have not provided or have withdrawn your consent.
Sending Commercial Electronic Messages: The Company may process your personal data, with your explicit consent, for purposes such as sending promotional, marketing, and campaign content regarding products and services via commercial electronic messages through physical or digital channels. Your personal data will be retained as long as your commercial communication consent is valid and will be stored for reasonable periods after you withdraw your consent.
TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be shared with the Company’s business partners, service providers, and public institutions or organizations when required, as specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL. If you have given consent for the processing of your personal data for marketing, profiling, and advertising purposes, your data may also be transferred to the Company’s solution partners conducting these activities on behalf of the Company.

The Company may collect your personal data through electronic channels, call centers, email, membership/communication forms on the website, website support panels, and web analytics tools, for the purposes of providing services and the data processing purposes stated above. In addition, your personal data may also be obtained through cookies used on the website.

Your requests will be processed free of charge by the Company within 30 days, depending on the nature of your request. However, if the processing of your request incurs additional costs, the Company may charge a fee according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
